Easy Cacciatore

Ingredients:


2 olive oil OR vegetable oil
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts   halves OR 8 skinless, boneless chicken thighs
1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder OR 1 clove garlic, minced
1 jar (26 ounces) Prego® Chunky Garden Mushroom & Green Pepper Italian Sauce
1/2 of a 16-ounce package linguine OR spaghetti, cooked and drained (about 4 cups)


Directions:


Heat 1 tablespoon  of the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat.. Cook chicken until it's browned on both sides. Remove the chicken from the skillet.

Heat the remaining oil in the skillet. Add the onion and garlic powder and cook until onion is tender-crisp.

Stir sauce in the skillet. Heat to a boil. Return the chicken to the skillet. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until cooked through. Serve over linguine.
